ABOUT THE WEBINAR

Although a post-COVID “normal” world is still a ways away, diet culture is wasting no time to put the pressure on to lose the so-called ‘quarantine 15’ and to focus on preparing our bodies to be ‘ready’ for life to return to normal. Whether you struggle with an eating disorder or disordered eating or not, coping with diet culture is challenging enough without navigating a pandemic. In this webinar, BALANCE registered dietitian Ximena Diz will discuss why responding to this pressure with a new diet is not the answer and explain why the diet mentality can increase disordered behaviors.

BENEFITS:

  • Identify what diet culture is & learn how to best cope with it
  • Understand the real reason dieting does not work
