Having struggled with an eating disorder herself, Melainie fully understands the complexities of the recovery journey and is now dedicated to supporting others in their quest to achieve long-term recovery as she has. She is a Certified Eating Disorder Registered Dietitian (CEDRD) & Supervisor and an official mentor through IAEDP’s (International Association of Eating Disorder Professionals) Connection, Outreach, and Mentoring Committee. As a mentor, Melainie uses her vast experience to provide guidance to clinicians new to the field of eating disorders.
