You know how it feels to carry the guilt, shame, and stigma of an eating disorder. . .

But, what happens when you’re feeling this… on top of a historically oppressed gender identity?

Inclusive recovery doesn’t feel like an option until you see providers make it one– and make it a priority.

We're at an impasse, hitting the same barriers to treatment at different angles:

Support teams work tirelessly to learn the intersections of identity-based stress, violence, and trauma to help LGBTQ+ folks receive the care they deserve. Yet this community has to run through hurdles and accept mistreatment or ignorance just to get one aspect of their needs met.

You should never have to choose between recovering from an eating disorder or validating your identity.

What if eating disorder recovery and affirmative care intertwined?

TRANScending Barriers to Treatment is your opportunity to validate this community’s right to gender-expansive support– within the home, school, and doctor’s office.
