BALANCE eating disorder treatment center's online Body Image Group fosters understanding about how poor body image, lack of sense of self, and low self-esteem impact our identity and make change difficult.
This weekly 75-minute group meets virtually Wednesdays from 6:00-7:15 pm EST
All adults are welcome to join this group. This group is not limited to a specific type of eating disorder and will allow clients to explore the underlying issues that impede them from maintaining a stable recovery.
The Body Image Group includes gaining insight into how your relationship with your body is often driven by emotion. Group members will learn how to practice emotional regulation and self-compassion.
Indiviudal meal support and nutrition counseling are available if additional support is needed.
